A new music competition series arrives this weekend with The Road premiering on CBS. The new series, executive produced by Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone), will see 12 emerging artists touring with Keith Urban and “tour manager” Gretchen Wilson. Each artist will get a chance to open for Urban, before the country music star, Wilson, and venue audiences decide if the artist gets to continue on the tour.
