    Former F.B.I. Chief Responds to Indictment: ‘Let’s Have a Trial’

    James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, was indicted in connection with testimony he gave in 2020. In a video, he welcomed the chance to vindicate himself.

    Comey is a bad person. He’s a sick person. I think he’s a sick guy, actually. He did terrible things at the F.B.I. I’m not afraid. And I hope you’re not, either. And I’m innocent. So let’s have a trial.
