Protesting Veteran Forcibly Removed From Senate Hearing

On Wednesday, a Marine veteran protesting the war in Iran was forcibly removed from a Senate hearing. The protester, Brian McGinnis, said in a social media post that his arm was broken during the struggle. Senator Tim Sheehy, Republican of Montana, joined the Capitol Police in removing Mr. McGinnis.

“Come on, let’s go.” “America does not want to send its sons and daughters to war for Israel. This is wrong. And nobody wants to fight for Israel. Stand up for America. Ouch — no one wants to fight for Israel.” “His hand!” “His hand!” “Oh my gosh. Why are you getting arrested?” “Free Palestine — from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli.”
