The final UFC event of 2025 is imminent. Brandon Royval and Manel Kape take center stage at UFC Fight Night, with a lot on the line after the events of UFC 323.
Royal and Kape fight for a spot near the top of the flyweight rankings. That’s very important after Joshua Van defeated Alexandre Pantoja for the flyweight title last week. The winner has a solid case for a title shot: Royval recently beat fellow contender Tatsuro Taira after losing a short-notice Fight of the Year contender against Van, and Kape is a fresh face. Royval and Kape were scheduled to fight twice this year, with each fighter pulling out once.Â
UFC Fight Night notably features the debut of former Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov against veteran Neil Magny. IBJFF Hall of Famer Marcus Buchecha, one of the most decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes in history, makes his sophomore UFC appearance against heavyweight knockout artist Kennedy Nzechukwu. The co-main event sees ranked featherweight Giga Chikadze (No. 15) defend his spot against unranked Kevin Vallejos.
Saturday’s event marks UFC’s final event before moving to Paramount+ in the new year.
