House to Vote on Release of Epstein Files

The House of Representatives was expected to vote on a bipartisan bill that would make public all files related to Jeffrey Epstein. President Trump, who had long resisted the release, directed Republicans to back the bill.

[Reporter] “I just want to be super clear on your position. Do you want to see that pass the Senate? Would you sign that bill if it gets to your desk?” “I do want to — Here’s what I want. We have nothing to do with Epstein. The Democrats do. All of his friends were Democrats. So, I’m for — any — I don’t — They can do whatever they want. [Reporter] “You would sign if it comes to your desk?” They can do whatever they want. [Reporter] “You would sign if it comes to your desk?” We’ll give them everything. Sure I would. Let the, let the Senate look at it. Let anybody look at it.” “My hope is that finally, these files will be released. And those who were complacent in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes will finally be named.”
