Frank Wilson is serving as the interim, and LSU fell 20-9 at Alabama in his debut in Week 11, but bounced back to beat Arkansas 23-22 in Week 12.

Top LSU football coach candidates
Lane Kiffin is the candidate getting the most buzz for LSU at this point. Geaux247 confirmed that members of Kiffin’s family were in Baton Rouge as of Monday to get a better feel for the city. That certainly doesn’t mean it is a done deal at this point, especially with Florida and others also pursuing the Ole Miss head coach, who might ultimately decide to sign an extension with the Rebels.
The latest Kiffin news, however, is at least a sign that he’s giving the Tigers a long look.
