    House Members Return to D.C. to Vote on Shutdown

    U.S. representatives traveled by plane, train and motorcycle to Washington in order to vote on a bill that would end the government shutdown.

    “Republicans and Democrats in the House, you need to begin right now returning to the Hill. We have to do this as quickly as possible.” “I’m here on the Mississippi. It’s going to take about 16 hours or so. It’s going to be a little chilly, but I will do my duty. I’m getting back to D.C.”

    U.S. representatives traveled by plane, train and motorcycle to Washington in order to vote on a bill that would end the government shutdown.
