Texas National Guard Troops Arrive in Illinois for Deployment
National Guard troops from Texas have arrived in Illinois on Tuesday, and are preparing to deploy to the Chicago area. Officials said the 200 troops were sent to protect immigration agents.
I have called upon Governor Abbott to immediately withdraw his support for this decision, and refuse to allow Texas National Guard members to be used in this way.
