Apple TV+ will remain the home of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang for the remainder of the decade.

The streamer has extended its deal with Peanuts rights holders WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions through 2030. Apple TV+ will retain the classic Peanuts library, including It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Christmas, along with the original series and specials it has produced in recent years, including Camp Snoopy and the recently released Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical. More such programming is in the pipeline, along with a second Peanuts animated feature film that’s now in production with WildBrain.

The announcement coincides with the 75th anniversary of the first Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, which was published in newspapers on Oct. 2, 1950.

“In this milestone 75th anniversary year, it feels incredibly meaningful to continue our collaboration with our brilliant partners at WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson,” said Tara Sorensen, head of children’s programming at Apple TV+. “Our commitment, dedication and passion for Peanuts runs deep. These beloved characters and stories hold a timeless significance, resonating with people of all ages across the globe. And we are delighted that the iconic holiday specials will be available for everyone to experience, continuing this time-honored, comforting tradition.”

As it has done in the past, Apple TV+ is making a few of the classic Peanuts specials available for non-subscribers briefly during their holiday windows. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will stream for free on Oct. 18 and 19; A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on Nov. 15 and 16; and A Charlie Brown Christmas on Dec. 13 and 14.
