The PC Gaming Show will debut a new showcase during the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2025 this fall.
Marking the first time PC Gamer has hosted a direct event in Tokyo, the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct will air on Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. PT, 12 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. BST and 1 a.m. JST.
Hosted by Elle Osili Wood and PC Gamer’s Midas, PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct will spotlight upcoming PC games from publishers including SEGA, Devolver Digital and Nightdive Studios, with more to be announced later this month.
PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct will air on Twitch, YouTube, X, Facebook, PC Gamer, GamesRadar+, Steam and more platforms as part of the 2025 Tokyo Game Show’s overall programming lineup.
Per the Future Games-owned PC Gamer, “Expect exclusive trailers, news from the show-floor, must-see developer interviews and world exclusive announcements.”
The last PC Gaming Show, which was held in June as part of the 2025 Summer Game Fest lineup, drew 17.1 million live + launch weekend views and ultimately reached a total of 51 million views. PC Gaming Show’s new Tokyo Direct comes on the heels of Japan’s PC gaming market nearly tripling in size between 2019 and 2023.

Future Games, the owners of PC Gamer and producers of the PC Gaming Show, will round out their 2025 event lineup with the Golden Joystick Awards in November and PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted set for its usual December slot.
