The 2025 Roblox Innovation Awards unveiled its winners during a ceremony at the San Jose Civic Theater Saturday with many of the top honors going to some of the platform’s most popular games, including “Grow a Garden” and “99 Nights in the Forest.”
Part of the 11th annual Roblox Developer Conference, this year’s RIAs were hosted by Roblox’s head of the developer community, Justin Sousa (widely known as “JParty” to Roblox users), and kicked off with a few words from Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki.
“All of you continue to exceed what I previously thought was possible,” Baszucki said. “Every entry, every nomination – is something that not only pushes each other, but also pushes us to grow. So thank you. You know, doing what all of you do takes a lot of hard work. It really takes rolling your sleeves up and getting into the weeds.”
The RIAs were held at the conclusion of this year’s Roblox Developers Conference, during which Roblox made several big announcements, including new safety tools and a “Moments” feature.
