Didn\u2019t he say something similar about Viktor Orb\u00e1n? Maybe he will send JD Vance to help with the re-election campaign \u2013 that went well in Hungary. Better working conditions during heatwaves are essential (Nurses fainting in \u2018inhumane\u2019 conditions due to extreme heat, union warns, 13 August). Pity the nurses, firefighters and all. How they must have envied footballers taking hydration breaks 20 minutes into their shifts, even in air-conditioned stadiums, during the World Cup. Perhaps the Guardian should consider Matthew Taylor, Sandra Laville, Damian Carrington and Pippa Neill for secondment to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (From grey water to cool spaces: 10 climate crisis policies Britain needs right now, 12 August).
