It\u2019s become a hallmark of his presidency, to the point that the Treasury Department announced on Thursday that President Trump\u2019s signature will appear on U.S. dollars later this year, a first for a sitting U.S. president.<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text g-body-text svelte-kxgec5 g-text_last\">The move is the latest reflecting a push to imprint his personal brand on Washington and the nation in ways that could outlast his presidency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text g-body-text svelte-kxgec5 g-text_last\">In total, since the start of Mr. Trump\u2019s second term, there have been more than a dozen instances of his name, image or signature emblazoned on a variety of American initiatives and institutions. It is not clear whether his signature will appear on all currency notes.  <\/p>\n<p>U.S. Treasury<\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"color: rgba(54, 54, 54, 1);\">The administration is planning to feature Mr. Trump\u2019s face on multiple coins to celebrate the nation\u2019s 250th anniversary. The move is <span style=\"color: rgba(17, 85, 204, 1);\">legally dubious<\/span>. It\u2019s also rare. At that Oval Office meeting discussing the program, Mr. Trump said he was willing to lend his name \u201cfor free.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>TrumpRX<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mehmet Oz, who runs Medicare and Medicaid, has said that Mr. Trump was not involved in picking the name. \u201cWe thought it had a catchy element to it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Trump Accounts<\/p>\n<p> House Republicans abruptly changed the name from \u201cMAGA Accounts\u201d before passing their wide-ranging domestic policy bill last year. That wasn\u2019t successful either but still seems to be of interest to the president.<\/span>  <\/p>\n<p>Washington Commanders<\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"color: rgba(54, 54, 54, 1);\">Administration officials have discussed Mr. Trump\u2019s desire for the <span style=\"color: rgba(17, 85, 204, 1);\">new stadium to be named after him<\/span>. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said it would be a \u201cbeautiful name,\u201d as he enabled the stadium&#8217;s construction. Metro system <span style=\"color: rgba(17, 85, 204, 1);\">unless it renamed itself to honor Mr. Trump<\/span>.
