\n\t\u201cWeird Al\u201d Yankovic spent much of 2025 taking his Bigger & Weirder Tour to large halls all across North America, but it turns out that was only the beginning. He\u2019s coming back next year for another 90 shows. It kicks off May 26 in Miami and wraps up Oct. 17 in Milwaukee. Along the way, he\u2019s hitting practically every territory in the United States \u2014 from Pikeville, Kentucky to Peoria, Illinois and Saginaw, Michigan, and beyond.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cWe did 75 shows this year, and the fans weren\u2019t sick of us yet,\u201d Yankovic said in a statement, \u201cso we\u2019re just going to keep on touring until they are!\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThe 2025 Bigger and Weirder Tour was a return to a traditional \u201cWeird Al\u201d show following a couple of runs that focused on fan favorites, deep cuts, and covers. Working with an expanded eight-piece band \u2014 including longtime Brian Wilson bandmate Probyn Gregory \u2014 the show featured mega-hits like \u201cAmish Paradise,\u201d \u201cFat,\u201d \u201cSmells Like Nirvana,\u201d \u201cEat It,\u201d and \u201cWhite Nerdy\u201d along with several costume changes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe tour reached more than 500,000 fans and hit some of the largest venues Yankovic has ever played, including his first show at Madison Square Garden. \u201cOftentimes really big moments in your life come and go so quickly that you can\u2019t really enjoy them while you\u2019re in them,\u201d he said that night. \u201cJust 149 more [shows], and I\u2019ll be all tied up with Billy Joel.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tHe pulled this off even though he hasn\u2019t released a new album since 2014\u2019s Mandatory Fun<\/em>, which was his first LP to top the Billboard 200. And despite releasing a new polka medley in 2024 that tackled songs by Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Adele, Lil Nas X, and many other contemporary hitmakers in breakneck fashion, he hasn\u2019t released a standard parody song in over 11 years.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019m at a point in my life where I feel like I want to just try new things,\u201d he told Rolling Stone<\/em> in 2024. \u201cI mean, I\u2019ve been following the same formula for four decades, and I want to get more involved in feature films and TV, and I love voice acting. I want to still keep doing music, and I still love touring, obviously. But doing new parodies just \u2026 I don\u2019t know.
