\n\tPete Davidson made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live<\/em>, where he was introduced by Colin Jost during the \u201cWeekend Update\u201d segment to address a recent article about a ferry they purchased together years ago. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe New York Times<\/em> recently ran an article calling the Staten Island Ferry that I purchased with Pete Davidson a \u2018money losing fiasco.\u2019 With more on this, is Pete Davidson,\u201d Jost said in between laughs as Davidson rolled into the shot. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cColin, you\u2019re looking great as ever. [Michael] Che, starting to crack,\u201d Davidson said, before he went on to joke about a few different topics related to himself, including taking part in the Riyadh Comedy Festival this year and that he\u2019s about to become a father.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cSo yeah, in case you\u2019re wondering why I had to do a show in Saudi Arabia, we\u2019re losing millions on this ferry,\u201d he joked. \u201cI assume that\u2019s what the article says. I can\u2019t spend $5 on a paywall when I got a kid on the way.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tJost and Davidson traded jokes about their ferry during the segment. \u201cWe even gave the boat a new name, you know. We thought the Staten Island Ferry sounded too depressing, so now it\u2019s called the Titanic 2,\u201d The King of Staten Island<\/em> star said. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThat\u2019s right, and it\u2019s actually going very well,\u201d Jost continued. \u201cRecently, we got paid by Nike to put an ad on it for the New York City Marathon.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tDavidson then took over the bit, poking fun at none other than Lorne Michaels: \u201cExactly. If Lorne Michaels has taught us anything, it\u2019s that you never ever give up, even if everyone says the time has come and Tina Fey is ready to take over.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tEarlier on Saturday, The Pickup<\/em> actor told People<\/em> he\u2019d \u201cdo anything for Lorne,\u201d adding that he would return to show if the SNL<\/em> boss asked him to.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI had a great time hosting last time, and anytime you get that call, it\u2019s an honor and a privilege,\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s always relevant, it\u2019s a hot show. People look forward to it, and the\u00a0cast\u00a0is great.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tDavidson served as an SNL<\/em> cast member from 2014-2022.
