\n\tThe Horror Collective, the genre banner of Shaked Berenson\u2019s (Slaxx, Turbo Kid, Tales of Halloween<\/em>) Entertainment Squad that is championing independent horror filmmakers, has launched a genre streaming service, appropriately called BloodStream.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tBloodStream, available at bloodstreamtv.com and on all major devices and platforms just in time for Halloween, is offering an advertising-supported free tier and a premium ad-free subscription tier, which costs $5.99 per month, or $59.99 a year.<\/p>\n \n\tBloodStream kicked off with a content lineup that includes more than 1,500 titles from such genre distributors as Well Go USA, The Asylum \u2014 home to cult sensation Sharknado<\/em> \u2014 and MPI Media\u2019s Dark Sky Films, the label behind The House of the Devil<\/em>, Stake Land<\/em>, and We Are Still Here,<\/em> and others. <\/p>\n \n\tThe streaming service promises a mix of \u201ccult classics, international gems, and fresh discoveries from emerging filmmakers, alongside films championed by The Horror Collective itself.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSaid Berenson: \u201cFor years we\u2019ve seen incredible horror films struggle to find their audiences because the mainstream platforms treat the genre as an afterthought. BloodStream is about giving horror the respect it deserves \u2014 a place where cult classics, festival discoveries, and global hits can live side by side. We\u2019re combining the creative with the analytical: curating films fans love while building the infrastructure to reach audiences everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBloodStream\u2019s programming will be handled by former Entertainment Weekly<\/em> senior writer Clark Collis, author of Screaming and Conjuring<\/em>, and Julia Marchese, director of the documentary Out of Print<\/em> and co-host of the Horror Movie Survival Guide podcast.<\/p>\n \n\tSaid Collis: <\/strong>\u201cI\u2019ve spent my career celebrating horror and speaking to the fans who keep this genre alive. BloodStream is the kind of platform I always wished existed \u2014 one that combines the thrill of discovery with a genuine passion for horror history and culture. I\u2019m excited to help build a space where fans can not only watch the films they love, but also engage with the stories behind them.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBloodStream said it has also struck technological partnerships, including with Incantor AI \u201cto localize films through advanced subtitling and dubbing, opening up international markets for indie filmmakers whose work rarely receives multilingual distribution.\u201d and <\/p>\n \n\tBloodStream\u2019s ambitions aren\u2019t limited to the living room.
