Late-night hosts have questioned Donald Trump\u2019s cognitive abilities as he makes further blunders during his second term.<\/p>\n
On Late Night, Seth Meyers replayed clips of various right-wingers talking about Joe Biden\u2019s cognitive decline when he was president and then told viewers that the same people should be more aware of Trump having similar issues.<\/p>\n
Recently, he repeated the debunked claim that he predicted Osama bin Laden would engage in mass terrorist activity one year before 9\/11. Meyers played footage of him slurring a catalogue of errors to a crowd. \u201cFinding the dementia in that clip is like finding Waldo in a book called Oops! All Waldos,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Meyers said \u201cthe president\u2019s brain is mush\u201d before playing footage of him not knowing what habeas corpus is. \u2018The president should probably know what it is,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Trump appeared to think it was a person and when he asked who that was, Meyers joked: \u201cLook at the panic in his eyes\u201d.<\/p>\n
He asked for help from Kristi Noem, yet the head of homeland security has also previously struggled to define what it is with Meyers showing footage of her being schooled by a senator. Meyers said that Republicans have become \u201cso uninformed they\u2019re turning senators into the principal from Billy Madison\u201d.<\/p>\n
Trump has also been \u201cthreatening to jail elected officials who get in his way\u201d with a bizarre Truth Social post where he claimed he would lock up the mayor of Chicago for not assisting Ice agents being sent to the city.<\/p>\n
Meyers said Trump is \u201cdeeply unhinged, detached from reality\u201d and likely has dementia.<\/p>\n
On Jimmy Kimmel Live! the host said we are living in \u201ca golden age of awful\u201d.<\/p>\n
This week sees Trump heading for his annual medical check-up which Kimmel said he wants to ace so he can take part in the \u201cannual tradition of eating all of Eric\u2019s trick or treat candy\u201d.<\/p>\n
He also told anyone who thinks their job is bad to spare a thought for the person who \u201chas to give Donald Trump a prostate exam\u201d.<\/p>\n
Trump has also been heavily campaigning for the Nobel peace prize, something Kimmel ridiculed. \u201cI\u2019ve seen a lot of Oscar and Emmy campaigns but no one has vied for an award more rigorously,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Kimmel said that \u201cno one has suffered more unfairness\u201d than Trump.<\/p>\n
In a social media post, the White House even sent out an image calling him \u201cthe peace president\u201d. Kimmel joked that this man of peace is \u201csending a platoon to invade a yoga studio in Portland right now\u201d.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Noem is threatening to \u201clock up American protesters for life\u201d after claiming to have captured founding members of Antifa, an \u201centirely imaginary organisation\u201d.<\/p>\n
Trump\u2019s wild claims about Portland has Kimmel thinking he is getting his intelligence briefings from \u201cre-runs of The Walking Dead\u201d.<\/p>\n
All of this is just an \u201cattempt to distract us from the Epstein files he doesn\u2019t want us to see\u201d.<\/p>\n
This also explains the government shutdown to avoid a potentially risky vote that could expose Trump. \u201cIt\u2019s so brazen,\u201d Kimmel said.<\/p>\n
He then played footage of a surprisingly reasonable Marjorie Taylor Greene who pointed this out in a TV interview. \u201cI don\u2019t know if she had a near death experience or maybe a medicine ball fell of a shelf at the gym and hit her on the head,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
