The Highway Code is clear about a hierarchy and stipulates when pedestrians\u00a0have\u00a0priority. Marilyn Adams (Letters, 24 September) asks \u201cWhat else can I do [to fight Reform]?\u201d We can explain to our relations, friends, neighbours and colleagues why a Reform government would be a disaster. It\u00a0shouldn\u2019t be too hard. Your review of House of Guinness (25 September) fails to mention the curse of the modern drama: mumbled, inaudible dialogue. It cannot matter whether the characters\u2019 pheromones \u201cpositively sizzle\u201d if we can\u2019t understand what\u00a0they are saying.
