\n\tKumar outlined India\u2019s incentive framework, stressing that international productions \u2013 including Korean projects \u2013 can access rebates of up to $3.6 million, with approvals granted in as little as 18 days. \u201cOur co-production agreements mean films can qualify as national films in both countries, opening markets and maximizing support,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n
\n\tChoi highlighted his company\u2019s remake of Indian blockbuster \u201cDrishyam\u201d for the Korean market, describing it as \u201ca landmark step in bridging storytelling traditions.\u201d Heo discussed his upcoming 3D animation \u201cAstro Station,\u201d made in collaboration with an Indian partner studio, crediting the project\u2019s visual quality to India\u2019s fast-growing VFX ecosystem.<\/p>\n
\n\tLamba called Asia\u2019s creative industries \u201cthe new superpower,\u201d pointing to India\u2019s experience in backend VFX for Disney, Pixar and Marvel. \u201cThis is the time to take the front foot, go global together, and recover faster through shared resources,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\n\tGupta, long based in Seoul and nicknamed \u201cthe most famous Indian in Korea,\u201d emphasized cultural affinity and the need to break stereotypes about Indian cinema. \u201cKorean audiences still think of Indian films as just song-and-dance epics, but younger viewers are ready for action-driven, layered stories,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
