\n\tCBS is expanding the TV footprint for the Golden Globe Awards.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe network and Globes producer Dick Clark Productions are teaming for a special called Golden Eve<\/em> that will highlight the winners of the honorary Cecil B. DeMille and Carol Burnett awards. It\u2019s set to debut Jan. 8 on CBS and Paramount+, three days before the awards ceremony.<\/p>\n \n\tGolden Eve<\/em> will feature in-depth interviews and career retrospectives for the recipients of the two special awards, honoring people from the movie (DeMille) and TV (Burnett) business who have made lasting contributions on and off screen. Viola Davis and Ted Danson received the 2025 DeMille and Burnett awards; honorees for 2026 haven\u2019t been announced yet.<\/p>\n \n\tCBS parent Paramount is also planning a \u201cGolden Week\u201d stunt across its platforms that will highlight kick-off events and other aspects of the Globes.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe are so excited to expand our partnership with CBS and bring the Golden Globes to an even wider audience across the Paramount portfolio,\u201d said Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions. \u201cWith Golden Eve<\/em>, we will celebrate the industry\u2019s most talented and influential figures, recognizing the recipients of the prestigious Cecil B.
