The Wall Street Journal first reported the layoffs earlier Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The layoffs follow a similar cut of around one percent of its total workforce that TechCrunch first reported in late June. Those cuts targeted Rivian\u2019s manufacturing team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rivian has made repeated workforce adjustments over the last two years. It laid off around\u00a010% of its staff in early 2024 and\u00a0made another small cut in April 2024.
