\n\tJason Isaacs appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em> to discuss his Emmy nomination for The White Lotus<\/em> and guest host Tiffany Haddish did her best to get him to talk about his full frontal nude scene. <\/p>\n \n\tThe actor has previously been reluctant to be part of the conversation about the scene, which involved his character Timothy Ratliff accidentally exposing himself to his children, played by Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sam Nivola, and Sarah Catherine Hook. But Haddish remained fixated on whether or not it was a prosthetic, even spraying Isaacs with water when he seemed to dodge her questions. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt made another appearance,\u201d Isaacs revealed after Haddish sprayed him and said \u201cI want to know about the penis!\u201d He noted that it was \u201cfunnier the second time\u201d because the kids yelled, \u201cDad, put it away!\u201d <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cBut the rest of the scene didn\u2019t work,\u201d Isaacs recalled. \u201cAnd I said, \u2018Mike, you cut my second dick [scene].\u201d The actor affirmed that creator Mike White didn\u2019t keep both scenes in the episode, but delighted Haddish by being willing to discuss his penis. \u201cYou never can talk about penis too much with me,\u201d she told him. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tIn March, after the episode in question aired, many viewers speculated about whether it was Isaacs\u2019 real member or a prosthetic. In an interview with\u00a0CBS Mornings<\/em>, Isaacs addressed the conversation around his character\u2019s body part being shown on TV while also dodging anchor Gayle King\u2019s question about whether it was actually prosthetic.<\/p>\n \n\tA lot of people are debating it. It\u2019s all over the internet,\u201d Isaacs\u00a0said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s interesting because the best actress this year is\u00a0Mikey Madison at the Oscars. And I don\u2019t see anybody discussing her vulva, which was on television all the time\u2026 I think it\u2019s interesting that there\u2019s a double standard for men. But when women are naked \u2014 Margaret Qualley as well, in\u00a0The Substance<\/em>, nobody would dream of talking to her about her genitalia or her nipples or any of those things. So, it\u2019s odd that there\u2019s a double standard when it comes to discussing [this].\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe actor later clarified his comments and apologized. \u201cI said the wrong words in the wrong way. I used the phrase \u2018double standard,\u2019 which I didn\u2019t mean at all,\u201d he told\u00a0Variety<\/em>. \u201cThere is a [different] double standard \u2014 women have been monstrously exploited and men haven\u2019t.\u201d <\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \n\tHe added, \u201cI absolutely should not have mentioned those two actresses, whom I respect enormously. Mikey Madison I\u2019m a massive fan of. My point wasn\u2019t that men have had a harder time than women \u2014 that would be absurd. Women have had a monstrous time on camera forever, and I hope to God that is changing.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tFor what it\u2019s worth, Nivola and Hook confirmed\u00a0to TV Insider<\/em> that, yes, Isaacs did wear a prosthetic. And he seemed to like wearing it. \u201cIt was a prosthetic,\u201d added Hook. \u201cHe was very excited to do it.
