Falcon), Mexico (Bestiario Films), Slovakia (Film Europe S.R.O.) and Estonia (Estin Film). TriArt handled the release in Sweden in February, and newly created St\u00e6r Film Distribution in Norway will follow suit later this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tStarring Embla Ingelman-Sundberg (Netflix\u2019s \u201cCarousel\u201d) Aviva Wrede (\u201cHashtag\u201d) and French rising star Oscar Lesage (\u201cThe Substance\u201d), the pic turns on two best friends, Laura and Alex, who embark on an inter-railing trip through Europe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAfter a drunken encounter with a stranger, Laura is left questioning what really happened. While challenging her own beliefs about herself, she gradually goes through a journey of guilt and self-discovery that eventually helps take back control of her own body.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe film world premiered in competition at the G\u00f6teborg Film Festival earlier this year where it scooped the Angelos Award. Most recently, it screened at the Biarritz Film Festival in France where it picked up an extra two accolades from a jury headed by Camera d\u2019Or winner Halfdan Ullmann T\u00f8ndel\u00a0(\u201cArmand\u201d).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201c\u2019Live a Little\u201d\u2019is a deeply personal story about finding your voice in the face of uncertainty. Seeing it resonate with audiences and distributors around the world is both humbling and energizing. We\u2019re thrilled that Laura and Alex\u2019s journey will connect with viewers in so many different cultures and languages,\u201d said producer Marie Kjellson of Kjellson &amp; Wik, formerly at Ruben \u00d6stlund\u2019s Plattform Production where she produced the Swedish helmer\u2019s 2014 Cannes Un Certain Regard winner \u201cForce Majeure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBesides \u201cLive a Little,\u201d LevelK is screening at the market the Danish feelgood feature \u201cThe Food Club-Home Again,\u201d directed by Charlotte Sachs Bostrup and a sequel to the 2020 hit which sold to multiple territories including a Samuel Goldwyn Films pickup for the U.S.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tKirsten Olesen (\u201cThe Bridge\u201d), Stina Ekblad (\u201cWallander\u201d) and Kirsten Lehfeldt (\u201cMen &amp; Chicken\u201d) return to their roles as three long-time women friends, now relocated to the picturesque South Funen, Denmark, after their wonderful cooking class experience in Italy in the original film.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAnother LevelK pickup, the Finnish drama comedy \u201cKidnapping of a President\u201d directed by Samuli Valkama, will bow at New Nordic Films\u2019 Works in Progress.
