\n\tAlan Cumming was happy to get a do-over playing Nightcrawler in \u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201c.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn a recent interview with People, \u201cThe Traitors\u201d host said it was \u201creally healing\u201d to return to the role of the teleporting mutant after having a \u201cterrible\u201d time during his first pass at the character in 2003\u2019s \u201cX2.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI just came back,\u201d Cumming said. \u201cIt was amazing. It was actually really\u2026 in a sort of ooey, gooey way, it was really healing and really nice to go back to something that was a terrible experience when I did it the first time. A great film, great film. I love the film.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tCumming added that filming \u201cX2\u201d with defamed director Bryan Singer was \u201cmiserable\u201d and \u201cawful for a variety of reasons that I have talked about at length.\u201d However, filming \u201cDoomsday\u201d has been the complete opposite experience for the Emmy winner.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cIt was actually really great to go back,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019m 60 years old. I did not think I would be doing stunts, playing a superhero in my 60s. So that was great. And everyone was really nice. And I got it done really quickly because I couldn\u2019t go, because of The Traitors, when most of my scenes were being shot.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tCumming is not the only X-Man returning for \u201cDoomsday.\u201d Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, James Marsden and Rebecca Romijn will also appear in the major Marvel team-up.<\/p>\n
\n\tSeveral core MCU-favorites have also returned for the film, including Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Tom Hiddleston, Letitia Wright and Winston Duke.<\/p>\n
