\n\tSharon Stone isn\u2019t afraid to play the villain, and she revealed that she has a \u201cbit of a moral code\u201d when it comes to portraying evil characters in projects.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI feel like if you play a villain, if I play a villain, I want \u2026 to go full villain. I don\u2019t believe in playing a villain like, \u2018She\u2019s bad, but hey,’\u201d Stone said during the Wednesday episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers<\/em>, noting that many bad guys are often redeemed at the end of movies. \u201cBecause villains, real villains, really fuck up your life.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStone then recalled a popular saying from the small town she grew up in, which guided her view of playing villains. \u201cWhen the devil walks in the room, it might be fun, but don\u2019t give him a seat,\u201d she said. \u201cDon\u2019t invite them to sit down. They might be the fun person at the cocktail party, but don\u2019t take them home.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStone famously portrayed villain Catherine Tramell in the 1992 thriller Basic Instinct<\/em>, while she plays crime boss Lendina in the upcoming film Nobody 2<\/em>. Her character in the action film, which hits theaters on Aug. 15, is the mastermind behind a bootlegging operation.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tAnother upcoming project that Stone has in the works is season 3 of Euphoria<\/em>. Her casting in the highly-anticipated season was announced in February, though her role is currently a secret. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThere is little more exciting than going to work with this team of thrilling talent,\u201d she said in a statement about her casting. \u201cFrom the genius of Sam Levinson to the raw sophistication of this profoundly moving cast and tight crew. I am honored to be Euphoric<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStone joined cast members including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane and Colman Domingo for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n \n\tThe actress has been friends with Dane, who plays Cal Jacobs, for a long time, and she recently revealed that she was by his side when he auditioned for the hit HBO show years ago. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cEric and I have been friends for a long time. A long time,\u201d Stone told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> at the Nobody 2<\/em> premiere. \u201cAnd I actually was like his support staff when he was trying to get the job on Euphoria<\/em>. So he would come over to my house and give me gluten-free cookies and we\u2019d sit and discuss it because he really wanted that job.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tShe added that it meant \u201cthe world to me that he got that job\u201d before he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis\u00a0(ALS), which he announced in April.<\/p>\n \n\tALS, which is commonly known as Lou Gehrig\u2019s disease, is a \u201cnervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.\u00a0ALS\u00a0causes loss of muscle control. The disease gets worse over time,\u201d according to the\u00a0Mayo Clinic.
