\n\tPete Davidson wasn\u2019t a fan of the media attention he received during the early years of his career. During an appearance on The Breakfast Club<\/em> on Wednesday, Davidson reflected on how he was perceived by the public and how it impacted his work on Saturday Night Live<\/em>. <\/p>\n \n\tDavidson explained that being a tabloid fixture during his high-profile relationship with ex-fianc\u00e9e Ariana Grande was often humiliating for him. \u201cI brought a lot of pop culture into the show,\u201d he said. \u201cI made it [a] sort of tabloidly, trendy thing, unintentionally. And, also I was embarrassed by it because\u2014now it\u2019s starting to change a little bit\u2014but no one talked about any work I was doing. They were just like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s the fuck stick.\u2019 And that hurt so much.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe actor said that after a year or two of this going on \u201ceveryone saw how sad I was about it and embarrassed.\u201d \u201cI was never on Instagram, you know, flexing that sort of lifestyle at all,\u201d he said. \u201cI was very embarrassed by it. So I think after a while they understood\u2026 But I just want to be clear, no one was outrightly mean by any means.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHost Charlamagne Tha God asked, \u201cWhat were you embarrassed by though?
