\n\tVincent D\u2019Onofrio may play the villain on Marvel\u2019s \u201cDaredevil: Born Again,\u201d but in real life, he\u2019s doing hero\u2019s work for fans of the show.<\/p>\n
\n\tThis week, observers picked up on a stray comment \u201cDaredevil\u201d star Charlie Cox made in July during a panel at GalaxyCon, when the actor called the upcoming second season of \u201cBorn Again,\u201d due to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026, the \u201cfinal season\u201d of the series. <\/p>\n
\n\tAsked about his favorite Daredevil costume, Cox mentioned that set photos from Season 2 of Cox wearing his character\u2019s new all-black suit have been leaked online. \u201cThe one that we just finished with in Season 2 of \u2018Born Again,\u2019 I think, is my favorite, for a couple of reasons,\u201d Cox said. \u201cOne, because it is bad-ass, but also because every suit that we\u2019ve had so far, in some way, is represented in the comics.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tHe continued, \u201cBut there\u2019s something that we do in this final season that doesn\u2019t exist in the comics. So, it is unique to our show.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tA fan took to X on Aug. 12 to share the clip and tagged Cox\u2019s costar, D\u2019Onofrio, asking him if Season 2 will actually be the show\u2019s last.<\/p>\n
\n\tD\u2019Onofrio said, \u201cGood chance there will be a third.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThe next day, D\u2019Onofrio followed up on X with more context, noting that he had discussed the status of the show directly with Cox \u201cand we both agree there\u2019s a very good chance for a third season.\u201d <\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI believe Charlie meant the last season we actually shot meaning the second season,\u201d he said. \u201cYet he used the term final season so its a bit confusing.\u201d In a separate post, D\u2019Onofrio clarified that \u201cit\u2019s just too early to tell\u201d about the show\u2019s future. \u201cBut it\u2019s very likely.\u201d<\/p>\n
