Predicting what will happen in a South Park episode is hard, but anticipating when a new installment will air might be even tougher.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hit satirical series had its season 27 premiere date pushed by two weeks and then announced its second episode would drop two weeks after the first. South Park hasn’t released a similar statement for the third installment, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will not air a new episode this week. Instead, Comedy Central is commemorating “South Park Day,” a celebration of the show’s fans with a marathon of past episodes, interviews from Comic-Con and more. South Park’s first episode, Cartman Gets an Anal Probe, will air at the time a new episode usually would.<\/p>\n

While we’ll have to wait for more details on the next South Park, another aspect of the show is more definitive: its new streaming home. With the\u00a0signing of a deal in July, 50 new South Park episodes and the show’s back catalog will be on Comedy Central and Paramount Plus. Forthcoming episodes of season 27 will stream on Paramount Plus in the US the day after airing on Comedy Central. The show is no longer available on HBO Max as of early August.<\/p>\n

South Park season 27, episode 3 release date and streaming details<\/h2>\n

The release date for episode 3 has not been announced<\/strong>. If it follows the current trend of skipping one week, it will air on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 10 p.m. ET (9 p.m. CT) and 10 p.m. PT and stream on Paramount Plus the next day (the first two episodes are already on the streaming service). CNET has reached out to Comedy Central and will update this story if we learn anything new.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Season 27 episodes will hit Paramount Plus in the US the day after they air on Comedy Central, according to Deadline. If you don’t want to wait that long to watch without cable, you might want to consider a live TV streaming service like Philo, Sling or YouTube TV. More on that below.<\/p>\n

Paramount Plus has two plans: Paramount Plus Essential and Paramount Plus Premium, which used to be called Paramount Plus with Showtime. Essential costs $8 per month and includes ads and a sampling of Showtime programming. Premium removes ads and unlocks more Showtime titles, among other perks.<\/p>\n

Philo<\/span> <\/p>\n

Philo is a live TV streaming service that provides more than 70 channels, including Comedy Central. A subscription costs $28 per month and also includes access to AMC Plus content. Rivals like YouTube TV come with more channels but Philo could be a good fit for you if you like its smaller selection for a lower price.\u00a0<\/p>\n
