Canty and Carol C. Villegas, lead trial attorneys in the case. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCompanies like Meta that covertly profit from users\u2019 most intimate information must be held accountable.\u00a0Today\u2019s outcome reinforces the fundamental right to privacy\u2014especially when it comes to sensitive health data,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meta disagreed with the verdict and said that the company never eavesdropped on Flo users.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe vigorously disagree with this outcome and are exploring all legal options. The plaintiffs\u2019 claims against Meta are simply false.
