\n\tJeremy Renner is ready to step back into Hawkeye\u2019s suit. In a new interview with Empire<\/em>, the actor said that he is \u201csure\u201d he will return as the Marvel superhero, either in a second season of Disney+ series Hawkeye<\/em> or in a future MCU movie. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019m always happy to be in that world, man,\u201d Renner said. \u201cI love all those guys, I love the character. I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll end up doing Season 2 [of Hawkeye<\/em>], and do other things. And I\u2019m happy to do it. My body\u2019s getting ready for something like that. I don\u2019t know if anybody wants to see me in tights, but my body will look good in the tights.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tFollowing Renner\u2019s near-fatal snowmobile accident in 2023, the actor has been working hard to get himself back in action. \u201cI\u2019m more than 150 per cent of what I was prior to the incident,\u201d he told Empire<\/em>. \u201cHaving health and wellness be such a central part of my life, that\u2019s what\u2019s gotten me back. And even as I age, I just feel stronger than I\u2019ve been. I have some issues, and tendon issues and certain limitations of flexibility and mobility, but I spent a lot of time on getting better and stronger, and I wouldn\u2019t if I didn\u2019t get crushed.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tEarlier this year, Renner confirmed he previously passed on a second season of Hawkeye<\/em> because he was offered \u201chalf\u201d of his pay from the first season. \u201cThey asked me to do Season 2, and they offered me half the money,\u201d the actor said. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Well, it\u2019s going to take me twice the amount of work for half the amount of money, and eight months of my time, essentially, to do it for half the amount.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \n\tHe alluded that the reason behind the lower offer was due to his\u00a0accident, which crushed more than 30 bones in his body. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m sorry? Maybe that\u2019s why you want to pay me half of what I made on the first season,’\u201d he said. <\/p>\n \n\tThe first season of Hawkeye<\/em> debuted on Disney+ in 2021 and starred Renner alongside Hailee Steinfeld and Florence Pugh.
