\n\tJeremy Renner is ready to return to the MCU.<\/p>\n
\n\tDuring a recent interview with Empire, Renner said he\u2019s ready to reprise his role of the bow-wielding Avenger, Hawkeye. He added that he\u2019s open to whatever Marvel has planned, whether that be a second season of the \u201cHawkeye\u201d Disney+ series or an MCU blockbuster.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI\u2019m always happy to be in that world, man. I love all those guys, I love the character,\u201d Renner said. \u201cI\u2019m sure we\u2019ll end up doing Season 2 [of \u2018Hawkeye\u2019], and do other things. And I\u2019m happy to do it. My body\u2019s getting ready for something like that. I don\u2019t know if anybody wants to see me in tights, but my body will look good in the tights.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tHe added that he\u2019s recovered \u201cmore than 150%\u201d from his near-fatal snowmobile accident in 2023, and is ready for the stunt work required for a Marvel vehicle.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cHaving health and wellness be such a central part of my life, that\u2019s what\u2019s gotten me back,\u201d Renner explained. \u201cAnd even as I age, I just feel stronger than I\u2019ve been. I have some issues, and tendon issues and certain limitations of flexibility and mobility, but I spent a lot of time on getting better and stronger, and I wouldn\u2019t if I didn\u2019t get crushed.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThis isn\u2019t the first time Renner spoke out about his potential MCU comeback. In May, \u201cThe Hurt Locker\u201d star said Marvel asked him to come back for \u201cHawkeye\u201d Season 2, but offered him \u201chalf\u201d of his salary from the first season. Renner speculated that his incident, which left him with eight ribs broken in 14 places, a broken right knee and ankle, a broken left leg tibia and ankle and a broken right clavicle and shoulder, had something to do with the reduced offer.<\/p>\n
