Someone pretending to be the beloved Sesame Street<\/em> character posted six tweets taking aim at Jewish people and the U.S. president <\/p>\n \n\tThe X account belonging to Sesame Street<\/em> character Elmo was hacked on Sunday, resulting in a series of antisemitic posts that included violent threats against Jewish people.<\/p>\n \n\tThe six now-deleted posts called on the muppet\u2019s followers to \u201ckill all Jews\u201d and declared that Donald Trump is the \u201cpuppet\u201d of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because \u201che is in the Epstein files.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cElmo says all Jews should die,\u201d one of the posts read. \u201cJews control the world and need to be exterminated.\u201d Another post called on Trump to \u201crelease the files\u201d and called him a \u201cchild fucker.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tA spokeswoman for Sesame Workshop confirmed that the account was hacked. \u201cElmo\u2019s X account was compromised today by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts,\u201d she said in a statement to press. \u201cWe are working to restore full control of the account.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBy Monday morning, the hacked posts had been deleted from Elmo\u2019s X account, which has more than 647,000 followers. No new posts have been added to the account since.
