\n\tIn the aftermath of those canceled shows, Bob Vylan returned to the stage Wednesday at London\u2019s 100 Club, where the crowd started its own \u201cDeath to the IDF\u201d chant. Frontman Bobby Vylan warned the crowd (via NME), \u201cNo no no no no, you\u2019re gonna get me in trouble. Apparently, every other chant is fine, but you lot will get me in trouble,\u201d and instead started a \u201cFree, free Palestine\u201d chant.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI\u2019m gonna try and keep my talking to a minimum today, because that\u2019s what got us in trouble in the first place,\u201d Bobby Vylan added. \u201cI am pretty tired. It\u2019s been a busy week, been a busy couple of days. Just putting out fires, you know? We never ever could have imagined that we would create a conversation that needed to be created and needed to be had.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThe BBC, which livestreamed Bob Vylan\u2019s Glastonbury performance, later issued an apology and announced it would no longer broadcast \u201chigh risk\u201d acts from the British festival following the controversy. \u201cWe deeply regret that such offensive and deplorable behaviour appeared on the BBC and want to apologize to our viewers and listeners and in particular the Jewish community,\u201d the broadcaster said in a statement. \u201cWe are also unequivocal that there can be no place for antisemitism at, or on, the BBC.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tGlastonbury\u00a0itself issued a\u00a0formal statement\u00a0following the performance, with festival head Emily Eavis stating that the organizers were \u201cappalled\u201d by the comments. The U.S. State Department\u00a0revoked the duo\u2019s U.S. visas\u00a0ahead of their fall tour, while they were removed from upcoming European festivals (England\u2019s\u00a0Radar Festival\u00a0and France\u2019s Kave Fest). British police have also launched an investigation into their performance.<\/p>\n
